Legacy Bloodlines

lpll-aqha-ranching-heritage-breeder-logo

The foundation of our performance horses begins with our mares. Bloodlines are just the beginning of developing all around equine athletes. It’s important to us that our mares learn multiple jobs and do them well. We use them to move cattle, check pastures, care for livestock, and cover miles of rugged land. They will also go to the arena for working cow horse, reining, cutting, speed events, roping, pleasure, or horse shows.

Our broodmares are producing promising prospects and we’re looking forward to their successes.

"Misty" is a 2001 Gray Mare

We raised Misty, and she became a prominent broodmare in our program. We have retained all her offspring because they have proven themselves as outstanding ranch horses as well as arena standouts. Her offspring have earned $3,049.50 in NRCHA and are competitive in barrel racing. Misty had limited showing as a yearling but consistently placed high in halter classes in the EMHSC. She was a fluid mover with heavy bone, a baby doll head and kind disposition. Misty was sired by Feature Jack, whose offspring qualified for the AQHA Work Show and PRCA National Finals Rodeo. Misty’s dam, Gallant Coup, had her racing career cut short when she was injured at Ruidoso Downs.
