Shiney and Tuff is a fancy and kind 2014 bay gelding that catches everyone’s eye. He is a fluid mover, with a kind disposition. Even though he's not a tall horse, he’s very athletic and has the build of a full-size horse. We started Tino and he took quickly to being ridden. We think he’s an ideal prospect for a junior rodeo, calf or heel horse – nevermind an outstanding ranch horse for someone looking for a tough, willing to work smaller gelding.
His dam is Shiney Vaca Reina, a palomino mare from the Black Rock Ranch in Idaho who has produced nice foals for Long Pines. Tino is sired by PC Tuff Dual, a grandson of Dual Pep (NCHA $307,384; progeny earnings exceeding $25 million).
Bettin Yer Smart foals born in 2019 and beyond are NRCHA Stallion Stakes eligible. Horses by Bettin Yer Smart and Judgemental are eligible for AQHA Ranchers Heritage and SDRCHA Stallion Stakes.
