Famed Long Pines stallion Bettin Yer Smart has a history of contributing both his cow horse skills and good mind to his colts. Yer Frosty Bet is one to watch because of the barrel racing and rodeo bloodlines through his dam, TS Autumn Frost (Autumn). Frost has a real nice way of moving. He's been halter broke but not started as of Nov. 2022. He's very value-priced.
Autumn’s sire, PC Mr Sun Peppy, placed in every barrel futurity he entered, including All-Around Futurity Horse Champion (barrels and poles) at Fizz Bomb; Futurity Champion at Can Chaser Classic (17.4 on standard pattern) and Sunrise Futurity. Autumn's dam, Tango Sun Frost, was sired by PC Bronsin, Crago Performance Horses legacy stallion, whose progeny have excelled at almost every rodeo event. He won the All-Around title at the World Foundation Quarter Horse World Show at the age of 15, placing or winning in nearly every event.
Bettin Yer Smart is a Long Pines legend. He’s out of Smart Little Lena and Bet Yer Boons, and grandson of NCHA Open World Champion Bet Yer Blue Boons. At the 2012 Snaffle Bit Futurity he won the Hackamore division, the first horse from the Northern Plains to win at this prestigious event. A few months later, he won NRCHA World Reserve Open Hackamore Champion. He qualified for NRCHA worlds in hackamore, two-rein and bridle. In the AQHA, he was 2011 High Point Open Junior Working Cow Horse, earning 36.5 AQHA points plus a Register of Merit in Open Performance. Bettin Yer Smart is among an honored few to be named an NRCHA Supreme Working Cow Horse.
With names like Doc O’Lena, Peptoboonsmal, Bet Yer Blue Boons, PC Peppy Kate, and Sun Frost in his linage, Yer Frosty Bet is quite the genetic combination.
Currently offered at $4,500.
